Grunge Sketches

Payment Plans
Orders totaling over $250 are eligible for payment plans.
Payment plans must be paid in minimum of $250 or 1/2 the commission price per installment, whichever is less. Monthly installments are standard, but payment dates can be flexible due to the process outlined below.Each installment will be a separate invoice covering an agreed upon amount of work. If you must cancel the project part way through, no refunds will be issued for completed work, but only completed work will be paid for. This protects you from paying for work that I have not done and protects me from having done work for no pay.This also allows you to pause a project for a month or two should you have an unexpected financial event or need more time to pay, without stress. A project can be put on hold for up to six months at no consequence to the client, as long as you communicate the need for an extension. After six months of no payment, a project will be considered abandoned, and the order will be closed.

Payment is through invoicing, please do not attempt to pay through ko-fi or other donation services.
Please understand what is being purchased is a service, not a ready made product. Once the service is complete, no refunds will be issued.
Prior to the start of work, a full refund may be requested. After work has begun, only a partial refund may be issued proportionate to percentage of work yet to be completed.

By placing an order you agree that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and agreed to these terms, and will not issue fraudulent chargebacks.
Checking the “make it goth” box on the order form gives me full artistic license to style the character to be drawn in goth clothes/makeup of my choice.
Checking the “make it horror” box on the order form gives me full artistic license to style the character to be drawn as a monstrous horror, skeletal undead, or otherwise haunted by demons of my choice.
I will not work on written description. Please provide a clear reference, or a $100 character design fee will be added to the order. Click here to see an example of an acceptable reference collage for those without ref artwork.

Mistakes on finished commissions that are the artist’s fault (ie, missing details, wrong colors, misunderstood requests) will be fixed free of charge.

The artist retains rights to post finished commissions and process work to social media and Patreon. If the art must remain secret, a 20% price fee will apply.
Rush orders (moving order to top of queue) add a 100% fee to price.
The client will not use the artist’s work to train AI generators such as Stable Diffusion, nor will they mint the work into an NFT.
The signature will not be removed from the art when uploading to social media. Exceptions include use as profile pictures, twitter banners, or when commercial rate has been paid.

Commercial Use and Redistribution
Limited Commercial Use (Promotional)
If the art will be used for purposes that promote income of the client but will not be resold directly either digitally or in the form of tangible products, limited commercial rights can be purchased at a cost of 25% of the final estimated commission price.Examples of promotional use include
Making advertisements for affiliated or partnered streams, donothons, or other avenues of payment such as ko-fi
Using for promos or teasers for events or subscriptions (such as vtuber debuts or subathons)
YouTube thumbnails promoting videos receiving ad revenue or promoting affiliated/partnered streams
Using in affiliated or partnered stream overlays, banners, profile pictures, stream schedules, stream alerts or panels
Printing on promotional posters or flyers for paid events such as live shows
⚠️ Promotional use for free events or streamers that are not partnered/affiliated/do not generate income do not require commercial use rights.
⚠️ Use of commissioned art in a slideshow showcasing gifted/commissioned artwork on stream is permitted and does not require a commercial use fee.
⚠️ Commercial usage for promotional purposes is included with reactive png sprites and live2d model commissions.
⚠️ In the case of art willingly gifted to a recipient by the artist without a commission agreement, the recipient has permission to use gifted artwork for these kinds of commercial use. Sale of the gifted art on merchandise requires negotiation.
Commercial Redistribution (Resale)
If the art will be used in the production and sale of merchandise, or sold digitally behind a paywall or subscription platform, redistribution rights can be purchased for a one time fee of 75% of the final estimated commission price. This fee covers both promotional and resale rights.Examples of resale include
Selling art on merch such as prints, stickers, shirts or other apparel
Posting to an exclusive Patreon or other paywall or subscription service
Use of art on covers for music albums sold physically or digitally
⚠️ Redistribution rights can be purchased at the time of order or at a later date, but if art is commissioned with the initial intent of making merch, please let me know so that I can optimize the design for the desired products!
